As a survivor of domestic violence to me all safety is interconnected. Community safety means ensuring that all of us are safe from systemic and interpersonal violence.. I will fund community violence interruptors, afterschool programs for youth, and mental health response teams, and work with Mayor Mamdani to stop overpolicing and surveillance in our neighborhoods.

Pass the New York Health Act to provide universal healthcare to all New Yorkers regardless of their immigration status, income, or employment.

As the only LGBT candidate in this race, I have fought and will fight for our queer and trans communities. I will advocate for access to and expansion of gender affirming care, to support anti-bullying efforts in schools by updating law and fully funding its implementation, and to improve employment support for our queer and trans workers.

As someone who grew up in Astoria the strains of asthma alley are personal. I will push the New York Power Authority to build 15 GW of renewable energy, push for the passage of the New York Heat Act to ensure we protect our pockets and our planet, and push back on rate hikes from Con Edison.

I will stand up for all workers and their ability to organize and join a union. It is time to fight for a living wage indexed to inflation and the end of all sub minimum wages. I will fight to protect all of our excluded workers from wage theft, harassment, and abuse.

I believe in advancing equity for all women, queer and gender-expansive people. I will fight to expand reproductive healthcare and gender affirming care, and to protect our communities from gender-based violence, hate violence, and discrimination.
